I am looking forward to this summer’s trip! I will see Buffalo in Yellowstone and Theodore Roosevelt National Parks. (once some buffalo splashing in a river woke me up I exited the tent under the Cottonwood trees, next to the river, quickly). Then in an area of Montana, I will be laying my head at night in a one room log cabin built in1891.(it has been modernized with electricity, running water and a flush toilet, shower…. it sits just above a meandering creek. At night the vegetation along the creek is host to a delightful display of of fire flies 🙂 It is amazing to think of the places Lewis and Clark trail -blazed on their journey through parts of America and the relative ease & privileged it is to explore those areas, some still wild, today…Last summer I stayed next to the Bob Marshall Wilderness.

  8. Thank you! I do plan to enjoy. The view from the log cabin to me seems like America’s Serengeti. I hope that at some point you’ll take the opportunity to gaze at the vistas and breath in the fragrance of life at those two jewels within the National Park System… I am neither well traveled or admittedly, well read. I do, however like adventure & time to be still and observe within my life’s journey…it is what we learn & implement from our varied experiences, either tragic, difficult challenges, daily ‘normal. life or joyful that lead us on to gratitude….. a heart must feel, a heart must heal and a heart must hope..
