My gut reaction is so different from the folks who have commented. How strong that boy was to let the old men’s crap roll off him, how sure of himself and his dream. Why do people have to try to squash innocence and talent? Shame on them.
Yes, he was strong. And you have to applaud him for continuing on. I didn’t think the story was so different from what goes on in real life. But your perspective is a great one.
