The only part he left out was how to make perfect popcorn; http://shine.yahoo.com/in-the-pantry/perfect-popcorn-step-step-photos-160900814.html. “When the kernels have popped, add 1/2 cup of popcorn kernels to the pan, swirling to coat them in hot oil.” I have found the secret is to remove the popcorn from the burner for 30 seconds at this point, then proceed with the recipe. Don’t forget to leave a crack in the lid for the steam to escape otherwise your popcorn will be chewy, not crisp…
