That’s funny…and, yeah, so many of us are from broken households. I did not have a father figure…it was all my mom, and even with me, I raised my kids, all three of them, pretty much on my own. I fell kind of in the middle on a lot of those things. Some of those are really funny though. I have been known to ask my daughter that same question…”Are you wearing your underwear???!!!” 🙂
he was a Farmer and believed that nothing bad ever came out of the earth 🙂 MJ
PS – you’ve likely seen coverage of the Alberta floods … well my family farm is located along the S. Saskatchewan River, just north of Gardiner Dam. They’re letting water go at record speeds to accommodate the flood waters. This video shows my home country, and those hills are where I used to ride my pony!
Laughing out loud! 110% right 😀 specially “Turn down the gangster music” (My father hates loud music and one day he refused to play my youngest brother’s favorite song and said he will break the CD. My brother replied, “It belongs to my elder brother” Father got angry and threw out the CD from car).
So glad to know that this is universally true! 😀
If possible please check my latest post Resilience, I trust you will enjoy it, if so please leave your feedback there, thanks

Kudos to your Mom. What a great job she did! And sounds like you had to play both sides of the Mother Father drum…and it’s workin’

This is why ideally we have two parents, so they can balance each other out. Too much of either one would be a disaster but a balance is perfect.

Very cute – so much for the imperative that parents always be in sync – it’s not possible.

That just about sums it up, probably because men are from Mars and women from Venus, and our children are an extension of those gender dynamics!
