I resemble this chart – the chart of a procrastinator. personally, I do my best work under pressure….less time to over analyze.

Really? I wouldn’t have pegged you for this behavior. BTW, where you have been? Conspicuously absent. 🙂

I like to plan in advance and then lie in wait to do the real work. I have been around, but was super swamped with my last few mths of grad school. The big day was last Saturday – a little bittersweet. I really loved the challenge.

Thanks! That means alot coming from you. It was really hard at times to manage everything, but it is probably one of the best things I have ever done for myself. Now I just need to find something else to keep my mind busy.

I never realized that my reaction to a deadline could be charted. This is the story of my life! 🙂

This looks like the chart for a Perceiver (someone who likes to see how long they can leave it before they get started on the work). I wonder if it would look different for someone with Judging Preference (start early, work to a plan). The green line would move up the chart much earlier. Great way to make this point!

I am laughing so hard at myself. This reminds me of the story on zendictive’s blog about the boy trying to learn to ride a bicycle. He never stopped wobbling and falliing over until he was chased by an angry dog! Talk about motivation. And our clocks and calendars work like angry dogs that day before the deadline, do they not?
