I guess in your weather this could be a great way to start your day. We on the other hand are slow and lying by the pool. (Sorry) its just the truth. 🙂
I know I know, I hear you! Being hot isnt always easy either! Sometimes we have to turn on the airconditioning and stay in doors like the cold? It can be difficult. I am working through it. … Ok I could be bordering on mean. 🙂 Im sorry.
How about a walking post? Any form of forward motion is good, and I’m quite certain you could be equally entertaining with that form of perambulation….
When inclined to cozy in for exercise, I dance. For this women the song “Brick House” by The Commodores is a funky motivator. (throwback to cheer-leading days) I do remember the early morning, face plant What is this talk of salt crystals? < b4 my time of reading your blog, perhaps? I like Rosemary Salt and Salish Smoked. My wise Grandmother lived with us for a few years; she notice us children, moving around and at times doing certain exercises and she would say if you just did that for 10 minutes every day 🙂 She was ahead of her time for sure. She taught me a lot. I miss her:) Are you involved in competitive running, at the masters level? I have a friend who is. I love reading about his runs along Sunset Blvd or along the beach in Malibu. I have been in awe of watching the hopeful & Olympic runners, run. Hope your run was refreshing!
Thanks for taking me on the journey. No. I do not run in competitions (any more). Perhaps if I lived near Sunset Blvd and Malibu there would be more inspiration. 6″ of snow on the ground on the 2nd day of spring will knock out a bit of motivation. 🙂

Lori I learnt a new word today “perambulation” Thankyou. I prefer to walk than run too, especially in the heat….

Leave it to Lori to come up with a word which makes exercise elegant.

Well, you have been too busy crunching over salt crystals and face planting on the ice to run. 🙂

The weather is no excuse for not running. See how Bugs is running in place? You can do that in your living room. There is no time like now.
