And where might we be for 2013?

  2. Ohhhh that was a really good LOLOLOL.

  3. srp17 says:

Ain’t that the truth! Very funny

  4. Fabulous….

  5. Think positively about this. If these are more realistic, chances are you will be more motivated to achieve them. So probably will lift your performance more than they did before. QED..

    • Wow. I can just see you giving your clients this pep talk. “Now Dave even though you didn’t hit any of your New Year Resolutions – or even come close – no worries – the simple fact that you had a stretch goal lifted your performance better than it would have. So without these goals, you would have been heavier, in worse shape, more lost and less read.” I’M FIRED UP MICHAEL. :)

      • And you closed with QED…had to look it up. (I’m curious why I’m getting blitzed with Latin…:) in this comment string. ( Insecurities further building) :) And I’m not adding Latin to my 2013 Resolutions list. That’s one that I will achieve. Not doing it.

“Q.E.D.” (sometimes written “QED”) is an abbreviation for the Latin phrase “quod erat demonstrandum” (“that which was to be demonstrated”), a notation which is often placed at the end of a mathematical proof to indicate its completion.

      • Glad my insane “logic” FIRED YOU UP, David! That’s what they sometimes call “coaching”, ho ho ho.

And now you have got me thinking about defying you on your determination NOT to learn Latin. How about we encourage people to include at least one Latin word per comment? i am sure your curiosity will overwhelm you, and before you know it you’ll be writing your posts in iambic pentameters.

(Could do them in Latin or in English, as Shakespeare does).

        Mens sana in corpore sano.

  6. Dr Bill says:

Ah, the circle of life . . .;-)

  7. Dr Bill says:

David, forgot to mention that as we age the time-space continuum speeds up. that is why we can’t get to all of the resolutions.

    • Time-space continuum speeding up? I have no idea what that means. Bill, I really don’t need (real, perceived or otherwise) any other head winds in my pursuit of my New Year’s Resolutions. :)

  8. Alex Jones says:

    With respect, this was funny.

  9. adinparadise says:

    Hehehe…… good going, David. :D

  10. Sandy says:

Sed nulla! Not regression . . . just revision and adding the most important — carpe diem :)

    • Sed Nulla? Are you piling on yet more shortcomings of mine (can barely string English language words together and now you are foisting Latin on me?) I do like your style. Not fail – modify – revise. And no surprise you hanging high on carpe diem. :)

      • Sandy says:

Thought I’d go with the “carpe diem” theme, add a bit of colour to my comment. :) The link is my google translation search. So now my vast knowledge of latin phrases includes: “carpe diem,” “modus operandi, “veni, vidi, vici,” and the newly added “sed nulla.” Wow. That’s probably good for this year.

I feel something you are unable to speak out. Is it?
