I’m disappointed, David. I thought this was going to be the first ever WordPress scratch ‘n sniff Post. I can;t smell anything. And we are having a wet and windy one here: I fear the leaves aren’t going to go golden, they are just going to get blown off. So as it happens I got the Autumn Blues, not that I want to burden you specifically with that. – that would be unfair…I suppose.
Scrach ‘n sniff….hmmmmm. Michael, I’m going to go with the odor-less version here. We are enjoying a wonderful autumn. Hope yours comes soon.

Love the photo! Reminds me of my dear I/G from years ago – her name was Tally Ho. Loved everything and everyone, she was a sweetie. Small but packed with personality.
I had to look up I/G. I didn’t know that this was an Italian Greyhound. Beautiful dog. I had never seen one prior to this shot….thanks for dropping by.

I never in my life thought I would wish I were a dog. It’s 80 degrees here, and I miss my autumn terribly.
While I’m at work with the a/c, however, I can enjoy this blissful photo in comfort.
Yes, Autumn is the best time of the year here…and I’m sorry, A/C isn’t a good 2nd place.
This is my favorite season and my feelings couldn’t be expressed any better than the photograph of what appears to be a contented and totally relaxed dog enjoying a brief pause on his journey…taking time to smell the roses, so to speak.
