I could not take my eyes off this soothing and mesmerizing video clip.
It reminded me of bouncy balls (on steroids) in my childhood.
Settle in and watch 250,000 colored balls being dropped down Filbert and Leavenworth Streets in one of the world’s greatest cities – San Francisco.
José González (one of my favorite artists) sings “Heartbeats” for the catchy background music.
Set your troubles away for 2.5 minutes – – forget about your work week – – kick back – – and enjoy.
Heartbeats
One night of magic rush
the start a simple touch
one night to push and scream
and then relief
ten days of perfect tunes
the colors red and blue
we had a promise made
we were in love
to call for hands of above
to lean on
wouldn’t be good enough for me,
no to call for hands of above
to lean on
wouldn’t be good enough
Thank you Aestheticsofjoy.com for the inspiration…and The Inspiration Room for background details.

What a shame it was an advertisement. : (

LOL. Funny you should ask. Some guy out of hinterlands in Wisconsin who I don’t know, decides to tuck me under his wing and teach me more in 15 minutes than I learned in 6 months wading around in the mist and fog. Bless those like him who are kind enough to help out of the simple goodness of their heart. Pay it forward I guess. And we will. Yes we will. Dave

Totally mesmerizing…for the first 30 seconds I couldn’t shake that this video was fake even though I knew it wasn’t. What a cool concept. And yes, the frog jumping out of the drain is hilariously awesome!! Thanks for posting – that was really nice to read/watch on a Friday afternoon 🙂

Great video…sitting there watching made me feel that I wish I could do that and let 250,000 roll!! Had Chase watch with me. I don’t care if you are a kid or an adult everyone wishes they could do that. Thanks for another great piece.

Beautiful. Love the colours. I work in a shop where a blind man’s Alsatian dog knocked a box of bouncy balls across the floor and the poor dog went crazy trying to go for every ball at once, one of the funniest things I’ve seen!….I can’t help but imagine what that dog would do if he was on that video! Lol

That was an awesome bit of creativity… It reminds me of children going crazy with bouncy balls X 250,000. The volume and maybe the speed of some of those balls could have dangerous, but adding in a couple of children into the clip would have been interesting … to see the reaction of children in slow motion would have been priceless.
Thanks for sharing this David!
